Scott McCloud's awesome webcomic/propaganda for Google Chrome

Scott McCloud, founder of Zot! comics and author of the brilliant books on visual culture Understanding Comics and Reinventing Comics, has just produced a comic book/instruction manual/propaganda about Google Chrome, the new, open source browser that's got the blogosphere all a-twitter.

I haven't read the whole thing yet, but the second I laid eyes on it, I knew it had to be McCloud's work. He's not the greatest draftsman in the world, but no one can match his uncanny ability to render incredibly complex ideas in happy little ironic boxes.

Yeah, it's cute. I'm increasingly skeptical about tech companies aspiring to be life managers. I already moved to Mac to escape Microsoft's machinations, and I think my next laptop will run Linux.
